/*-----------------------------------------------------------. / Description / '------------------------------------------------------------/ Game: Titanfall SweetFX version: 1.4 Author: CeeJay.dk Description: By hyun18 These are the default settings for SweetFX 1.4 They smoothen jagged edges with SMAA anti-aliasing, sharpen the image with LumaSharpen and make the colors slightly more vibrant with Vibrance. Please note when tweaking settings that higher numbers does not always equal better (nor does lower). Finding the best settings for your game and your taste is about finding just the right amount to apply. If you made a good setttings preset please share it with your friends, on forums and websites, and/or submit it to the SweetFX Settings Database : http://sfx.thelazy.net/games/ /*-----------------------------------------------------------. / Choose effects / '-----------------------------------------------------------*/ // Set to 1 for ON or 0 for OFF #define USE_SMAA_ANTIALIASING 1 //[0 or 1] SMAA Anti-aliasing : Smoothens jagged lines using the SMAA technique. #define USE_FXAA_ANTIALIASING 0 //[0 or 1] FXAA Anti-aliasing : Smoothens jagged lines using the FXAA technique. WIP - Currently only works in DX9 and you need to use the FXAA injector dlls. #define USE_CARTOON 0 //[0 or 1] Cartoon : "Toon"s the image. (Interferes with SMAA, CRT, Bloom, HDR and Lumasharpen) #define USE_ADVANCED_CRT 0 //[0 or 1] Advanced CRT : Simulates an old CRT TV display. (Interferes with SMAA, Cartoon, Bloom, HDR and Lumasharpen, and it has a very high performance cost) #define USE_BLOOM 1 //[0 or 1] Bloom : Makes bright lights bleed their light into their surroundings (relatively high performance cost) #define USE_HDR 1 //[0 or 1] HDR : Not actual HDR - It just tries to mimic an HDR look (relatively high performance cost) #define USE_LUMASHARPEN 1 //[0 or 1] LumaSharpen : Also sharpens the antialiased edges which makes them less smooth - I'm working on fixing that. #define USE_TECHNICOLOR 0 //[0 or 1] TECHNICOLOR : Attempts to mimic the look of an old movie using the Technicolor three-strip color process (Techicolor Process 4) #define USE_DPX 0 //[0 or 1] Cineon DPX : Should make the image look like it's been converted to DXP Cineon - basically it's another movie-like look similar to technicolor. #define USE_MONOCHROME 0 //[0 or 1] Monochrome : Monochrome makes the colors disappear. #define USE_LIFTGAMMAGAIN 0 //[0 or 1] Lift Gamma Gain : Adjust brightness and color of shadows, midtones and highlights (avoids clipping) #define USE_TONEMAP 0 //[0 or 1] Tonemap : Adjust gamma, exposure, saturation, bleach and defog. (may cause clipping) #define USE_VIBRANCE 1 //[0 or 1] Vibrance : Intelligently saturates (or desaturates if you use negative values) the pixels depending on their original saturation. #define USE_CURVES 1 //[0 or 1] Curves : Contrast adjustments using S-curves. #define USE_SEPIA 0 //[0 or 1] Sepia : Sepia tones the image. #define USE_VIGNETTE 0 //[0 or 1] Vignette : Darkens the edges of the image to make it look more like it was shot with a camera lens. May cause banding artifacts. #define USE_DITHER 0 //[0 or 1] Dither : Applies dithering to simulate more colors than your monitor can display. This lessens banding artifacts (mostly caused by Vignette) #define USE_BORDER 0 //[0 or 1] Border : Makes the screenedge black as a workaround for the bright edge that forcing some AA modes sometimes causes. #define USE_SPLITSCREEN 0 //[0 or 1] Splitscreen : Enables the before-and-after splitscreen comparison mode. /*-----------------------------------------------------------. / SMAA Anti-aliasing settings / '-----------------------------------------------------------*/ #define SMAA_THRESHOLD 0.08 //[0.08 to 0.20] Edge detection threshold. Is it possible to get this to work without RadeonPRO? I use Nvidia. I'm playing on an HD tv and the monitor setting's black levels are too dark, but the television setting looks a bit washed out. This would be perfect to fix the TV setting but I cant get it to work, tried all afternoon. I tried using the regular Sweetfx and the 64 bit version, either way it hasn't worked.

Works fine here with RadeonPRO and SweetFX 1.4.

Hey man really need some help can't get Radeon Pro to work for titanfall set a preset even tried to just add it as a trigger under different pre set

Mine is 1.4*
But yeah,everything works perfect with my radeonpro + sweetfx (v1.4 files)
And again, radeonpro is not just for amd cards.

@K-Putt
Im not sure why it matters that Im using radeonpro.
This site are just for presets o_o
They will work the same if you use sweetfx+efx or just pasting the sweetfx files.
Sweetfx on radeonpro works with 64 bit too . I havent tried with a v1.5 sweetfx plug-in though, Mine is 1.5

Uhm people. This website are just for presets.
There are probably many guides out there on how to install sweetfx.
You can either use radeonpro or efx + sweetfx (both seems to work well with win 8.1 = dx11.2, if you have 8.1 , use either one) , ir just paste the regular sweetfx files as usual.
Doesnt matter whichever. But see what works for you.
~
Then just get presets from this website.
~
I use radeonpro and I am not having ANY problem with any game.
All I do is add profiles (locate the game .exe client file) ,and then I tweak my sweetfx settings there (sweetfx plug-in enabled in radeonpro = I had to locate where i placed my sweetfx 1.4 files for that).
Then I can just customize them different for each profile..
=======

If youre using the paste method (like regular or sweetfx+efx_) , you just replace the sweetfx_settings.txt with this one ( from your sweetfx files).

I only had problems with SweetFX and Titanfall. You will need a 64bit DX11 injector. I got it working with Boulotaur's injector. But i only got a black screen. Something doesn't work there. And the RadeonPro injector isn't really an option to share sweetfx presets imho.

yeeeeah.Me too.I put all the files as described, but nothing works for me.For example for castlevanie you should put 4 files in bin folder,others in the main folder.You see the difference.Different directories and it worked.Something we do incorrectly.

It always depends on the game you use SweetFX with. The "how to add a preset" doesn´t work if you try to use it with a game like Dota 2 for example.

The question is now, how did hyun18 made SweetFX to work with Titanfall? I don´t get it :(

vovonito:

Learn to read, "how to add a preset" not how install SweetFX whit this preset.

vovonito

There is a link on this website called * how to add a preset* Read there and download sweetfx there.I gues you should put all given files in to the folder where the exe file is located. For me it is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Titanfall-Beta

Please, could you tell us where exactly you put the SweetFX files in and what exactly your ingame graphic settings are!?

Not work for me, can you upload a .rar with all file necessary and and clear information on how to install it?

hyun18

@vovonito

You just replace the original sweetfx_settings.txt file
with this one (rename it to sweetfx_settings) .

Depends where you set it up.I dont think it comes with preset does it?

I use radeonpro and I assign my hotkey there.
So I dont know o_o
But by default should be f12?

Wich key is it to turn SFX off/on in game ?
