I wanted to give the game a more cinematic feel. I realize this will go counter to what many play the game for, but for those that are like me and just like a little more flare in your shooters, I hope you find this right up your ally.
I've changed the color palette of the game a little while adding cinematic effects like lens flares and film grain. You can disable basically everything with the toggle keys I've set up so no need to switch from the game to change anything.

CONTROLS
Toggle the effects with scroll-lock, by default. Use the ReShade's "settings" menu to change the controls for opening the reshade menu, toggling the entire preset on and off and setting up screenshots.
Optional features and the controls to toggle them. Be sure your numberpad is on first:
Depth of Field - "/" near numberpad
Film grain - "3" on numberpad
Sharpness - "5" on numberpad
Black bars - "0" numberpad (off by default)
Bloom and lens effects - "6" on numberpad
!!!IMPORTANT
For me the game crashes if I use any form of ReShade or SweetFx in fullscreen mode. So you must enable borderless window mode to use ReShade if yours also crashes when trying to load the game with Reshade enabled.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Download the latest version of ReShade 3.0+ from here: https://reshade.me/
Run the .exe that you just downloaded. Probably best to copy it to your desktop or someone first outside your downloads folder.
Follow the steps it tells you and select "DirectX 10+" selecting yes everything it asks.
Download my preset by hitting the button below and rename the file to "anythingyouwant.ini". The most important part is changing the ".txt" file to ."ini."
Put the file in your game's "bin" folder where "Squad.exe" is located.
Run your game, don't touch anything while reshade loads its effects.
Open ReShade menu with "shift+f2" and use the drop down menu to select the .ini file you just put in your bin folder. Keep hitting the continue button until the boxes turn from red to grey/clear.
Done. Profit!
HYPER IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!
The depth of field must be changed when switching sides from the Russians and the U.S. and vice versa. It's set up to work with the Russian side weapons by default.
When you switch to the U.S., open the in-game ReShade menu and change the second value in "DoF_FOCUSPOINT" to ".500" from ".490". Switch it back to .480 or .490 when switching sides to Russians. This must be done or your vision will be blurry where you are trying to aim. Takes all of 10 seconds, which can be done as the game loads the map, so no big pain here.
You can just copy-paste the reshade preset settings into two seperate .ini files and have one for U.S. and one for Russians and switch between them instantly with the in-game ReShade drop-down menu if you'd rather do that. Just name the two .ini files something different.
To get the richer color palette in the seen with the humvee on fire, for instance, open the in-game ReShade menu and scroll down to "Technicolor 2" in the bottom menu and change saturation to ".5" and hit enter. Make a note of the value it was at before and change it back to that to have the more desaturated look.
