Preset description:
Reshade preset I made for Dark Souls 3. Download: http://www.mediafire.com/file/d70p2535cis101v/Fire-Fades-Reshade.zip ======================================== README ======================================== This document will tell you how to install/uninstall ReShade 3.1.0 and the Fire FadesDOF preset. Troubleshooting will be at the bottom of this document. ----------------------- / / /Installing ReShade 3.1.0/ / / ----------------------- Extract Fire-FadesDOF-Reshade.zip first. Run the ReShade_Setup3.1.0 and select, "Select Game". Then select DarkSoulsIII.exe in the main folder. The main folder should be at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DARK SOULS III\Game\". Afterwards, click on Direct3D 10+. When the next prompt comes up, click yes. When it asks if it should install standard effects, click yes. When it's done downloading, click ok on the box that just came up. Close the window and launch DS3 like you would normally do to see if it installed correctly. To know if it worked, at the top of the screen it should say something about ReShade compiling effects. If you want to, click Shift + F2 and do the tutorial. ----------------------- / / / Installing Preset / / / ----------------------- After making sure ReShade installed correctly, open your main folder for DS3. Again, this should be at, "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DARK SOULS III\Game\". Open another window in Fire-FadesDOF-ReShade. Drag the "Fire Fades.ini" file into your main DS3 folder. Run the game and follow the tutorial for ReShade if you haven't already. Hit Shift + F2 to open the ReShade menu. In the Reshade menu, click on the drop-down menu and select "Fire Fades.ini". ----------------------- / / /Uninstall ReShade 3.1.0 / / / ----------------------- Go to your main DS3 folder. Remove "Reshade-shaders", "d3d11.dll", "d3d11.ini", "d3d11.log", and "dxgilog.txt". To remove the Fire Fades preset just delete "Fire Fades.ini". ----------------------- / / / Troubleshooting / / / ----------------------- If your game keeps crashing follow these steps. Find "dxgi.dll" and "dxgi.ini" in your main DS3 folder. Rename "dxgi.dll" to "d3d11.dll", and "dxgi.ini" to "d3d11.ini".
