Orochi's Malignity
Preset description:
KOF98 still has to be my favorite of the series, due largely to the return of new Orochi introduced in KOF97 and the revival of older characters from earlier KOF/Fatal Fury/Art of Fighting games. This preset “Orochi's Malignity” improves the default color. The game originally has a bit of a greenish hue to it, that has been corrected. The details concerning backgrounds of stages have been improved; shadow and light sources stand out more giving stages more realized depth/volume. KOF98 is still fun playing after all these years. Hopefully this preset increases the fun factor of other players who venue this series. One more note before leaving, the preset only works in configuration mode; in performance mode the screen goes black. The last Blade 2 also had this problem yet The King of Fighters '98 Ultimate Match Final Edition was more cooperative in configuration mode with the shader preset enabled unlike Last Blade 2; which is why for it I had to find a workaround.
