Preset description:
Khorrhxe's WinUAE (Best & Free Amiga Emulator) "Mega" fix, which retains the emulator's flavor and slightly improves on it (within logical boundaries). Important: We cannot play too much with the Amiga preset without totally destroying the look of its darker pixels, so this Preset is thus very subtle (but also very good). The screenshot will not do it justice for that reason, you'll need to try the preset directly. This is designed to perfectly mimic the Amiga CRT Monitor by: -- Changing the contrast a bit. -- Adding a (very) Slight saturation level boost. -- Adding a (very) Slight FXAA/Sharpness to the WinUAE shader used below, because it is too blurry, so we're still retaining the slightly fuzzy aspect of the original Amiga Monitors. The pixels on the Amiga never looked like they do on the PC, they looked better, as they were -very slightly- fuzzier (but not blurry at all) since the Amiga Monitor was CRT/TV-like and the pixels were thus less visible overall. For the best Amiga-like output, you should also use the free, WinUAE filter/shader called "CRT-Guest-SM-Hires-SmartRes-Interlace-no_scanline" which can be downloaded from this website: https://github.com/guestrr/WinUAE-Shaders (and then copying the file into \WinUAE \Plugins\filtershaders\direct3d\ and also obviously enabling it/selecting it within WinUAE) ** How to use: You download ReShade (https://reshade.me), launch it, point to the WinUAE executable (winuae64.exe)that you downloaded from https://winuae.net then point to my config file after you downloaded it from here, and ReShade will subsequently load everytime you launch the emulator, you will see the notice at the top of the screen (then you use HOME key to see the ReShade options and change them as needed, you can change the keys showing the preset off-on and so forth). Important 2: Make sure you select all shaders to install during the ReShade setup, to ensure you have all shaders used in this preset (I don't use 100% of all the shaders, but I may experiment with some newer ones, it's easier to just install them all). I lowered the sharpness a tiny bit and adjusted saturation (it was set too high and was hurting some darker pixels). Also removed some filters that weren't needed which will help with FPS. This makes the whole preset more subtle overall but works best regardless.
