Enhanced Wasteland:
The goal of this preset was to slightly add more vibrance to the wasteland environment
in Fallout 4 and make it appear less washed out.
There is also usage of other settings that I think make the game look better.
You can check out the screenshots to see it in-game.

Installation:
For new users:
• Place all the files in your root Fallout 4 game directory.
This should be located at:"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Fallout 4"
• Run the game normally through the launcher and it should load with your new ReShade/SweetFX Preset.
• If you do not want Depth of Field, go to the ReShade folder, open up McFx.cfg and scroll down to Line 78.
Where it says "#define USE_DEPTHOFFIELD 1 //[DOF] //-" Change the 1 to a 0 and Save the file.
This will turn off Depth of Field.
• Want a 10 FPS increase with this preset? Disable Ambient Lighting. Go to the ReShade folder, open up GemFX.cfg and scroll down to Line 57.
Where it says "#define USE_AMBIENT_LIGHT 1 //[AmbientLight] //-" Change the 1 to a 0 and Save the file.
This will disable the Ambient Lighting effect but increase the framerate.
---------------------------------------------------------
For returning users:
• Follow the same instructions for new users but uninstall the old preset first.
• Go to your Fallout 4 game directory
• Delete the following file(s):
- dxgi.dll
- ReShade.fx
- Sweet.fx
• Delete the following folder(s):
- SweetFX
• Now you can do a fresh install for Enhanced Wasteland 3.0
Since he ran this on an ultrawide resolution he probably has the sharpening really high, you might have to lower this manually, unless you play on 2k.
Thanks!
Yes! Thank you Razed, this preset is beautiful. I have been using the Fine Text edition without the DOF and I must say that it is awesome! It's very easy on the eyes and of course the text (including Steam overlay chat) is as crisp as can be while in-game. 10/10 Thanks again.
version without DOF is wonderful, thx!
Ty Razed!:)
How can I use Reshade to tweak your presets?
@SnowMN No need with ReShade Framework because the setting textfiles are divided into multiple files.
no need for the setting.txt anymore? O_o
Can't download??
I'm on latest drivers btw.
I have no issues anymore, i got TAA enabled in-game and Afterburner overlay and it doesn't crash.
I'm on Win 10 X64 latest build.
running latest nvidia drivers on gtx 970 windows 7. game crashes every time....
can't get it to work.
any suggestions?
seems awesome btw
good job ! :)
@Quentin-Tarantino
I think the red tint is bit overdone, it gives sunlight and general lighting too much 'burning' effect.
@SnowMN I've got both turned off, running borderless window with steam overlay, AA and AF completely off (from the configuration window, still may be in in NVIDIA Control Panel)
Just wondering do folks prefer a red tint?
did u guys turn off AA and AF completely
Currently this CTD's 100% of the time after installing the latest drivers from NVIDIA, sad as these screens look fantastic.
for reference I'm running a GTX 980 on the lastest drivers
I am dumb nevermind.
Toggle?
Hey, Raze. It looks great. Can't wait to try it out in the Wastes. Don't die often. Thanks for the preset.
Sadly doesn't look ingame as in those screenshots.
Too much sharpening i would say, especially visible at tree branches.
Looks good! Definitely gonna be installing this in 30 Minutes when Steam unlocks the Game :D
Very nice! Definitely gonna be installing this day one.
Very pretty. Good work :)
