Preset description:
The GOG version of the game has been patched to run on DirectX 9, which allows ReShade to work. If you're playing the original version from CD-ROM, you may try dgVoodoo2 (http://dege.freeweb.hu/dgVoodoo2/dgVoodoo2.html), a so-called "wrapper", which "translates" older DirectX versions to DirectX 11. In that case, you can also use ReShade (choose DirectX 11 instead of 9, then).
