== Preset for Reshade 3==
Subtle change in the colors, lighting enhancement, anamorphic lens flares and a bit of grain for a more cinematic look.
== Install ==
Getting Reshade 3 to work with Max Payne 2 is a bit tricky, but this should work :
//Simple Install
1 - Download MaxPayne2 Reshade3 byLemmi v1.3 that contain all the files needed : http://www.mediafire.com/file/6e7mxt3dbx4oelo/MaxPayne2_Reshade3_byLemmi_v1.3.zip
2 - Copy (and replace) in your game folder.
3 - Launch the game
(4) - The WidescreenFix might not work on the first run. Just quit the game and relaunch to make it work.

//Complex Install
1 - Download Max Payne 2 Widescreen Fix : https://thirteenag.github.io/wfp#mp2 , copy the files in the game folder AND rename "d3d9.dll" to "winmmbase.dll".
2 - Download the latest D3D8to9 : https://github.com/crosire/d3d8to9/releases and copy the files in the game folder.
3 - Download Max Payne Series Startup Hang Patch 1.01 here https://www.vogons.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=51579 or here https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/838-max-payne-series-startup-hang-patch/ and replace the files in the game folder.
4 - Download the latest ReShade release: https://reshade.me/
5 - Install with DX9 option.
6 - Copy the preset into the game folder.
7 - Download this file http://www.mediafire.com/file/o1aik6rcmiif7f3/MaxPayne2_LUT.zip and copy the lut.png into your reshade texturefolder.
**Reshade 3 interface doesn't properly work with Max payne 2 (and 1 also) when you move your cursor, so you have to link the preset manually**
8 - Edit the d3d9.ini and add "/MaxPayne2CinematicLook.ini" at the end of "PresetFiles=(your game path)" // usually it's : PresetFiles=C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Max Payne 2 The Fall of Max Payne\MaxPayne2CinematicLook.ini
9 - Launch the game
(10) - The WidescreenFix might not work on the first run. Just quit the game and relaunch to make it work.

If the Game is slow : Alt-Tab to minimize the game, then go back to the game, it should fix-it.
