Amped Brilliance, Color & Detail by Shewtz
Version 0.0.4 - For Star Citizen (Version 3.12)
The A.B.C.D. Reshade 4 preset gives Star Citizen a more vibrant, sharper, HDR-like appearance. It attempts to minimize over-exposure and excessive contrast while still enhancing details and color. Its goal is to make the already-immersive Star Citizen even more lifelike by providing additional clarity and color brilliance to enhance detail. It can also make some previously difficult-to-discern targets more visible.
Installation Instructions:
1. Download ReShade (https://reshade.me/#download) and this preset (https://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/9498/download/)
2. Open ReShade and select "Click here to select a game and manage its ReShade installation"
3. Click "Browse" and navigate to your Star Citizen installation (e.g. C:\Program Files\Roberts Space Industry\StarCitizen\LIVE\Bin64)
4. Select "StarCitizen.exe" and click "Open"
5. Select "Direct3D 10/11/12"
6. When asked for effect packages to install, select (with a filled out checkbox) "Legacy standard effects (only select this when using old presets)" and uncheck any others (like "SweetFX by CeeJay.dk")
7. Click "OK"
8. When prompted to select effect files, check the following:
• AdaptiveSharpen
• Clarity
• Colourfulness
• FakeHDR
• Vibrance
9. Click "OK"
10. Click "Edit ReShade settings"
11. For "Preset", click "...", navigate to this preset file you downloaded in step 1, and click "Open"
12. Check "Performance Mode" and click "OK"
Now close out of ReShade and load up Star Citizen. Once you load into the game, you should be presented with a banner/overlay message from ReShade within the game. If you don't see the overlay, you may need to navigate to your Star Citizen installation directory (e.g. C:\Program Files\Roberts Space Industry\StarCitizen\LIVE\Bin64) and rename "dxgi.dll" to "d3d11.dll".
Note: If things seem jaggy or over-sharpened, you can try disabling "AdaptiveSharpen" from the ReShade overlay menu in-game. While this setting is intended to help targets stand out more in certain settings - particularly dogfights/combat - it may not be desirable for all.

It shouldn't have deband enabled. Thanks for pointing that out, Antary. I've updated/uploaded the preset to get rid of that unused filter.
