Dark & Gritty Cinematic Experience

Preset description:
This is my shader settings for a more realistic World of Warcraft experience. I always wanted to see how WoW would look like if it wasn't so much high fantasy, so, upon playing Drustvar and seeing the potential for more immersive gameplay, I took some inspiration from Diablo and made the game a little darker and grittier. This preset tones down a little of the oversaturation, smoothens edges whilst simultaneously making textures sharper. It has deep rich shadows as well as more immersive dynamic lighting and sunlight bloom. On top of everything, a slight vignette helps one focus on the centre of the screen without excluding the edges completely, and helps creating nice scenes even during normal gameplay. Very pleasing to the eye, and, in fact, makes the whole gameplay experience a little more immersive. I suggest you take a look at the screenshots, as I describe exactly my goals when building the preset. To install: - At ReShade's main website (http://reshade.me), download ReShade. - Follow the steps to install ReShade to your game. - Download this preset. - Extract this preset to your game's root (main) folder. - Rename the preset's file to Dark & Gritty Cinematic Experience.ini (you may have to enable extensions by accessing the view tab in the Explorer and checking the "File Name Extensions" checkbox). - Launch your game and make sure it's enabled.
