Israel Defence Forces members display courage throughout their service. They owe an immeasurable debt of gratitude to the Jewish community. We owe a great deal to the courageous Israelis as well, who by living in Israel defend our tiny Jewish state. And this is especially true for those who have been seriously hurt in terrorist attacks. The Friends of Israel Disabled Veterans (FIDV) and Beit Halochem organisations are committed to providing care for Israeli service members who become disabled while performing their responsibilities as well as for other people whose lives have been ruined by terrorism.
