~ BADLAND FC ~ v1
Preset description:
The goal of this preset is to give the game a moody, cinematic atmosphere. All pics are at ultra settings on a 1080ti. I use ReShade 3.1.1, but have some custom shaders - Ioxa released a few shaders in the ReShade forums that I prefer over the ones in the official release. I've included the 3.1.1.exe in the archive.
Some effects like TiltShift and DOF can look broken depending on your resolution. I play at 3440x1440, therefore if you're playing at 21:9, everything should be fine. 16:9/16:10 users might see some issues, so I've given those two effects their own toggle buttons. I'll post settings for 1080p when I get around to it.
INSTALLATION:
1. Download the archive located here:

2. Unzip the archive and from inside the BADLAND FC v01 folder double-click and install ReShade_Setup_3.1.1. Follow the standard install procedure, but don't download any shaders.
3. Copy+Paste the reshade-shaders folder and SweetFX_Settings_Badland_FC_v1 into your FC5 game folder where the FC5 executable resides.
4. Start your game, hit Shift+f2 to start ReShade, and in the dropdown menu select SweetFX_Settings_Badland_FC_v1.

Thanks, Pvt! I think the color could still be better though. I stopped playing after posting this preset, but should be updating it soon.
As for increasing performance, disabling the DOF effects are probably your best bet. That or...lowering a few settings. :(
Wow! Very cinematic. I love the color tweaks. I lose an average fo 12-14 fps with everything enabled though, and i'd rather not lower any graphics settings. I play at 2650 x 1600 on a 980ti. What would you recommend disabling?

@Assassin - Yeah, that's what I've found too. I prefer Matso and Ring, depending on the game. GPDOF is probably the best looking, but unfortunately very heavy.

Cool preset, but...what with that blue tint ?
Oh I should add, everything i said applies to auto-focus in the main DOF shader. No flicker if you use the DoF shader and turn off auto focus, since you get a static DoF then. Also, the Light DOF shader seems to flicker much less as well, but it can't really produce the same sort of rich, close-range, cinematic-style DOF as the main DOF shader.
Oh wow, i'm so jealous @no issues. Yea the flickering always happens in all games with reshade on some level because there's no way to stop the DoF from refocusing instantly. The ways around it all come with trade offs but here's the best tips I can give in the most concise way I can (which will still be too long, sorry):
1) Turn the DOF_BlurRadius down to a value between 2 and 10. The lower the value, the less overall blur you are able to apply to the image. The effect is exponential, kinda, when trying to increase bokeh elements in the DOF, like in my screenshots in the Did I Ever Tell you preset. The size of the bokeh circles are controlled by the DoF_BlurRadius, basically. So lowering it can give you a smoother looking DOF and also helps to minimize the amount you can tell that the DoF is refocusing, which has the effect of making it seem like it's flickering less. It's not actually, but you can't tell it is.
2) On the opposite end, the higher the DoF_FocusRadius, the less it will tend to focus on smaller objects like trees or light poles etc, while desirable in theory, it can be undesired at some point since it won't seem to focus on anything at all.
3) Depending on which DoF you use, I like Matso and McFly, you can further smooth out the appearance of it flickering by lowering the bokeh amounts on those as well. I like 4.4 for Matso and only use McFly for high bokeh values because it has the best looking circles and other features.

Wow. No, no issues like that. I even turn on and off the UI to take screenshots. I haven't tried any of the other presets yet, but does the DOF in yours also kind of flicker on and off at times? That's a common issue with adding external DOF with ReShade, I've just accepted it, but it'd be cool to know if others have better settings.
Yea man, some others have had issues too with DoF. It cuts off whenever any UI element is on screen, but will come back on, but worst of all it will cut off forever if i pause the game or go to the inventory screens or map screens, etc. Won't come back on until i quit to the main screen and load back in. Sometimes only quitting to desktop will make it come back on. Oh also i think i need to be offline as well.

Looking great, as always! Have you figured out a way to keep DoF active after pausing the game or going to the map screens, etc?
