Preset description:
Reshade 4.9.1 - OpenGL - Call of Duty Uses:LumaSharpen, MXAO@qUINT, SMAA, FXAA, FocalDOF, ContrastAdaptiveSharpen, DELC_Sharpen@qUINT_sharp ,Deband, MagicHDR, Vibrance, HDR@FakeHDR.fx Tested on CoD1 Steam as of 12/12/22 CoD1 Remastered (sort of) https://store.steampowered.com/app/2620/Call_of_Duty/ Threw together a few different settings using a couple of different shader packs to enhance the experience without taking too much away from the original game's visuals and gritty tone. Original focus was just to brighten up the game's lighting and add depth to the shadows, though it went a little further than that. I think it works work, it doesn't blow out the colours or add obtrusive high levels bloom or fog, but still lightens the image, sharpens all textures and provides much needed expansion bright to dark ranges and giving some glow to light sources. Additionally, I tweaked MXAO in order to add some fine shadowing around objects which takes away the flat look with weapons/items on surfaces as well as bodies and faces. I think it add a lot, and I hope it works for you too. It should be noted that some options may be a little performance heavy for older computers such as MXAO, feel free to toggle off that and maybe also the HDR. Usage instructions: Either download linked zip files containing all my files and install to /Call of Duty directory (with CoDSP.exe) https://www.mediafire.com/file/kawbuk2parjvmsv/CoD1RemasteredReshade.7z/file or manually grab the latest ReShade or version stated above, and rename downloaded txt file to "ReShadePreset.ini" and do the same. I'd turn down the game brightness a few notches from default to, to compensate for some of the hdr/tonemap techniques. Side note: Sorry for the bad or lack of screens, I'd been tweaking it as I was playing through and only just now decided to upload this so others can mess with it. They don't really it justice.
