Crispy Cinematic Enhancer
Preset description:
DESCRIPTION & FEATURES
This is a somewhat straight-up enhancer I made to make the game look how I wanted it to. It basically removes the war-time filter in favor of a more neutral tone and then enhances the colors on an individual level from there, rather than just giving a hideous blanket increase to all the colors equally, like many ReShades do. I also added a host of OPTIONAL cinematic effects, like letterboxing, film grain, an anamorphic camera lens with warping and distortion, chromatic aberration, vignette, bloom, and lens dirt.
I'd like to flesh this out further and refine the effects even more, but this beta ends in like 2 days, so there's no time if I want to also give folks time to actually try to use it during this beta phase.
I'll refine this further when the full game launches. In the meantime, hope you enjoy what's here!

INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS
1. Download ReShade framework version 3.0.8 from this link:
https://www.mediafire.com/folder/8ar1jhh1809cl/ReShade_Repository#bow1ko4203njp (using the current version of ReShade 3.4.0 crashes on launch for me with this game.
2. Run the .exe, chose your Insurgency Sandstorm .exe, called "InsurgencyClient-Win64-Shipping.exe", which is found in this subfolder path: "... \Steam\SteamApps\common\sandstorm\Insurgency\Binaries\Win64"
Now choose the DirectX 10+ version when it asks which API to use.
3. Select yes when it ask if you want to download a collection of effects. Uncheck all but the Border effect in the list shown.
4. Download the "shaders" folder from my dropbox link:

5. Copy-paste the shaders folder in the "... \Steam\SteamApps\common\sandstorm\Insurgency\Binaries\Win64" folder, where you found the aforementioned .exe "InsurgencyClient-Win64-Shipping.exe"
6. Download the Crispy Cinematic Enhancer preset itself from the link on this page by clicking the bottom at the bottom of the page that says "Download".
7. Rename the preset file "anythingyouwant.ini" with the only important part of step 8 being that you change the file extension from ".txt" to ".ini".
8. Put the preset file in the same "win64" folder we've been working in so far where the game's real .exe is and where the reshade-shaders folder, dxgi.dll, and dxgi.ini should all now be.
9. Run your game and open the ReShade menu with Shift+F2 and select the preset.ini file you named whatever you wanted from the drop-down menu.
10. Profit?
HOTKEYS
Letterbox (black bars) 0 on numberpad
Anamorphic lens distortion (warping at the corners of the screen) and chromatic aberration - 2 on the numberpad (off by default)
Film grain - 3 on the numberpad
Bloom and lens dirt - 6 on the numberpad
Sharpening - 5 on the numberpad
Vignette (darkening of screen edges) - * (star) on the numberpad
Color and lighting changes (Lightroom) - 4 on the numberpad
UNINSTALLING
1. Delete the Reshade folder, dxgi.ini, dxgi.dll, and dxgi.log from your game folder. That's it.
Enjoy, leave comments below if you're having trouble installing.
You may notice a slight decrease in performance, but it should still be pretty similar FPS to what you usually get.
