Shader used: ReShade
Preset description:
Increases contrast, saturation and adds bloom. Color values also slightly tweaked. This should help in combatting the duller, flatter look of the PC port. I tried to be careful with the Bloom effect to strike a balance in which the beach Stages look bright and sunny like the Arcade version, but Stages that are foggy and are not supposed to look too bright look OK too - also to avoid the blown-out exaggerated bloom of the 360/PS3 Online Arcade version. "Milkyway" in particular looks extremely nice here thanks to the darker tones and the brighter stars and moon that now shine beautifully thanks to the bloom. Reds have been tweaked so they're darker and less magenta as to make the car paint and rendering closer to the Arcade version. Greens are also tweaked so that they're slightly less saturated, since otherwise the tweaks would make grass and trees look too unnaturally, chemical-y green. Blues look particularly colorful. This is my first time using ReShade and also my upload/contribution so let me know if there's any issues!
