Shader used: GemFX
Preset description:
Download GemFX from here: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?672483-A-R2-TW-GEMFX-Version-1-0-9 ______________________________________________________________________________ Once installed in your Dark Souls II "Game" folder navigate to "\GEMFX\Presets\current" and replace the cfg file with the one extracted from here: http://www.mediafire.com/file/nbd91tq8kcqqiw9/GEMFX_settings.rar 1. Chromatic aberration might be too strong or too subtle (arguably a good thing?) depending on your resolution, feel free to play around with the HBO values on the GemFX configurator under the "Additional Shader" tab until you're satisfied with it. (Mostly the setting for Shift Amount). 2. You should probably be using GeDoSaTo for texture replacements and better post-processing effects.(https://redd.it/2g52sj), here are my settings: http://pastebin.com/Yw6y23yy •Be aware that you can customize hotkeys for enabling and disabling the post processing effects from GeDoSaTo. The asmodean tonemap works well with this preset but it might be too dark for some people. ______________________________________________________________________________ https://youtu.be/xeOIcsKfE9Y This is the very preset used in the video, uploaded under request from a friend who was still interested in the regular 2014 version of the game for whatever reason. ______________________________________________________________________________ If you're seriously going to use this you might as well consider grabbing these great mods: • http://www.nexusmods.com/darksouls2/mods/633/?http://www.nexusmods.com/darksouls2/mods/638/?http://www.nexusmods.com/darksouls2/mods/203/?http://www.nexusmods.com/darksouls2/mods/363/?http://www.nexusmods.com/darksouls2/mods/571/?

I personally couldn't get the preview option to work on it so i'd say it's a lot more cumbersome atm than the new version of ReShade. Everytime i want to tweak something i just have to launch the game over and over again while taking comparison screenshots.

Also the selection of basic shaders you pick from in the first page of the configurator seem kinda stylized and pre-defined, it can be rather convoluted to work with them depending on the game. (each one with their own color filter that also alter shadows and such).

Coolio Iglesias, Brosephine.

I find making preset edits in GEM to be really cumbersome compared to say, ENB or ReShade. Am I doing something wrong, or is GEM just not that user friendly?
